Provincetown
Public Library Long Range Plan/Goals, Objectives, and Activities
The principal Goal of the Provincetown Public Library over
the next five years is to move into a larger facility offering adequate seating,
meeting and exhibit space, room for the collections, space for technology
and quiet study/research space. The following Goals, Objectives and Activities
have been developed consistent with the plan that by 2006 a new facility will
be open and enabling all Objectives to be completely met.
Over
the course of the next five years, Library Staff members will continue their
endeavors to make improvements and progress towards meeting the Goals and
Objectives with the full knowledge that the present facility is severely inadequate.
Library Staff, Trustees and Volunteers will be devoting significant additional
